The Rosenbaum Houes is one of best examples of Wright's Usonian style (1939-40). The museum is the only structure in Alabama designed by Wright. It is constructed of cypress, glass, and brick. It was acquired by City of Florence in 1999 and has been fully restored.

The Belle Mont Mansion is Alabama's finest expression of Jefferson Palladian architecture. The brick, u-shaped structure, was built between 1828 and 1832 and was one of state's first great plantation houses. The design strongly suggests influence of Thomas Jefferson. The mansion is an Alabama Historical Commission property.
